BIO David Kaye has performed magic and comedy for children for more than thirty years. Known to the public as Silly Billy, he has performed at the White House and Lincoln Center. David was honored to receive the Performing Fellowship Award from the Academy of Magical Arts (The Magic Castle). David is the only children’s magician in history to receive this honor. He was named New York Magician of the Year in 2019 by the New York Assembly of the Society of American Magicians. David has appeared on the covers of seven international magic magazines. He wrote a monthly column in MAGIC magazine for eight years and is currently a columnist in his tenth year at Genii magazine. He may be best known for his groundbreaking book, Seriously Silly - How to Perform Magic and Comedy for Children, considered by many to be the bible for children’s magic. At his lecture on Magic for Children you will learn tricks, theory, and psychology of performing magic for children.
